Classes - Ready to Learn !
Come along to a Patchwork class - they are a tradition amongst crafty folk! For beginners who are keen to fulfill a life long dream of making a quilt or for advanced Quilters wanting to enhance their expertise and knowledge – you know you will meet other people who share your passion!. The country studio atmosphere will allow you to work in comfort

Class steps:
Step 1:

Select a class and date that suits you. Book and pay for your class – this confirms your registration and is for class instruction only. Collect your ‘class requirements list’. |
Step 2:

Ensure your machine is in good working order – service or repairs can be arranged well in advance at Horsley Patch. (You will usually need your 1/4" foot and sometimes your walking foot) |
Step 3:
|
Select your fabrics and class requirements on a day prior to class and remember you will receive 10% discount on your class fabrics at Horsley Patch.

Step 4:

Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class start time to get yourself setup. Class will commence at advertised start time. For the comfort of all in your class - children and non paying guests are not able to attend. Make yourself a cuppa and enjoy your day!

* Class fees are non refundable unless cancelled by us or the instructor. If you are unable to attend a class - please contact us and we’ll let you know if there is a waiting list to buy your seat. Should we cancel a class we will advise and refund your money or can give you a credit for another event.
Class Requirements:
Where a pattern / book is necessary to make a quilt top it is included in class fee.
Fabric selection can take you some time therefore you should purchase class requirements on a separate day prior to your class – this will also help to ensure classes are run in a timely manner.
Along with any class requirements you’ll need your Sewing basics. Sewing machine with filled bobbin, scissors, seam ripper, rotary cutter and mat, quilters ruler and pins, 1/4" foot (walking foot will be required in some classes)
*You should ensure that YOU are familiar with all aspects of YOUR sewing machine - if you haven't used it for some time or are new to the machine then take the time to have several practise runs on setting the tension, changing feet and bobbin winding prior to the Patchwork class. Your patchwork class experience will be best when you are comfortable with your machine.

Prices vary based on Size of your quilt - let us measure your quilt to quote on your next Quilting project
(Wadding and Backing must be a minimum of 4" wider on every side than you quilt top - ensure all sides of Quilt top, wadding and backing a straight)
